The drawer named Award.Kit includes everything you need to quickly create
customized awards and flyers. The Power.Borders drawer contains several
hi-res borders that can be used with Spritz' unique Power Borders feature.
To illustrate quickly, start Spritz with a 640 x 400 x 8 screen and page
size. Then choose Open-Cut Drawer from the Project menu. Use the file
requester to find the Award.Kit drawer and view the contents of the
Power.Borders drawer. While its contents are visible, simply select Ok from
the file requester without choosing a file. The entire drawer of Borders
will be loaded with this single operation. Go to the Box tool and scroll
through the available cuts with the up and down arrow buttons at the top
right side control panel. After selecting the one to try a Power Border on,
click once with the left mouse button to set the first point of the
rectangle. Before pressing a second time to indicate where you want to set
the right side of the rectangle, press the Alt key. Pressing the Alt key
before the left mouse button on the second point of the rectangle will
activate the Power Borders feature using the currently visible cut. A frame
will be drawn directly proportional to the size of the rectangle you drew!
With a little experimentation, you'll quickly see how easy and fun it is to
create very unusual frame and border designs. Keep in mind that once a high
resolution frame is created in a fairly small size the high resolution will
be maintained regardless of how large a frame you make using the Power
Borders feature. This is just one way Spritz makes the novice look almost
like a professional!
